Glastonbury Fight Club
  What to Expect

Fight Club begins promptly at 7:00 with a welcome and an opening prayer and comments. After reviewing the Rules of the Ring, there is a brief teaching and discussion on a relevant verse or two from the Bible. Next, there is an opportunity for every man to introduce himself and to share briefly why he has come to Fight Club. Then it is Open Forum time, where all are welcome to share in greater depth about the challenges they are facing and to share experiences or advice with each other. On some evenings, there may be an opportunity to hear a testimony shared by a member of the group as to the challenges they have faced in their life and where they are at in the process. At 8:25, we close by saying the Serenity Prayer and closing with any last prayers or announcements, ending at 8:30. Typically, there will be some men staying around until at least 9:00 in case anyone needs to talk more.

All are welcome, regardless of your background or experience. While there is a brief teaching and discussion from the Bible, and God and faith will likely be referenced often, you do not have to be a Christian to attend.
